Let's start with a short story...
The Secret Salesperson ~2 min 20 secAs you saw in "The Secret Salesperson" story above:
David, a school teacher, told his students to read a book and they borrow from the library
David convinced their neighbor to start exercising who got his wife to join him
Lisa, David's wife, told their friends about a restaurant, and the next day, some went to try and told their colleagues the day after, that led to a bunch of people having eaten there
Conclusion: We’re all recommending things we love — we're just not getting paid for doing it
Although Lisa said that David is always selling something, what she really meant is that he is "sharing" the things that he love to help others make good decisions rather than "selling" in the traditional sense.
